Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been DJing?

I began DJing in 2014 as a bedroom DJ making mixes to enjoy for myself. I began DJing parties later that year, and weddings and corporate events in 2017.

What genre do you specialize in?

I’m an open format DJ, so I don’t specialize in anything. I take pride in having a very large library and being able to play and mix most popular genres.

Do you bring your own equipment?

For weddings, parties, and corporate events, I bring my own equipment. My setups provide microphones (typically wireless), speakers, and for larger events, lighting.

Can I hear samples of your mixes?

I’d love for you to! Please visit the Mixes page to listen.

Are you able to travel for events?

Yes! I love to travel and to DJ alongside traveling is just the icing on the cake.

How far in advance should I book you?

The sooner the better! Weddings and corporate events are typically booked 12-18 months in advance so please inquire as soon as possible.

What’s the difference between you and other DJs?

It’s all about the style. DJing has been my passion since I was a kid, and I pour that energy into every mix. For me, it’s not just about looking good behind the decks—it’s about making every track hit just right. While some DJs shine on the mic and others behind the turntables, I’ve worked hard to master both. The result? A vibe that sounds as good as it feels.

Do you take song requests?

I love song requests! Song requests help me read the crowd and transition from one point to another throughout the night. I do filter all requests to keep the dance floor going, but I try to find a way to accommodate as many as possible. I do request the professional courtesy to be able to curate your event to your and your guests’ high standards.

Do you create custom playlists for events?

Yes! I ask all of my clients to give me at least a few songs that they need to hear, and then I base the night on that playlist. No matter the mood or theme of your event, I can match it!

How do you handle timelines?

I’m very comfortable and experienced with following timelines. I review timelines multiple times ahead of the event, as well as throughout the event to ensure no cues are missed. Sometimes things do get behind because of factors outside of our control, and I’m perfectly able to pivot and update things on the fly!
